Many people thing there are camels everywhere in Morocco but that's not true. At least not here in the north part. This is more like Spain, Italy or Greece, it's like being in Europe. The south on the other hand is Africa, with the dessert and camels and the lot.

As far as I know there are 3 camels in our province and they live on a field close to the main road. Every day they go for long walks along the beaches,so tourists can take a short ride and have their photos taken. This one was taking a nap on our beach while the owner was having lunch at a nearby café.

Oh my! How funny. Definitely not something I'd expect to see on the beaches around here.
